Ok, I think I know what happened. I got nasty extensor tendonitis at the . And I have been getting it every time I go that is about 10 miles long. The shoe laces are loose. The feet swell up by the end of the race. What is going on?! Well, lots of googling and I think it is... . It is one of the most common long distance problems and a symptom is hands and feet swelling up. Which in turn makes my shoes too small and I get extensor tendonitis.

Next time I'm going to do 2+ tabs of salt, maybe a tab of salt every hour. Also in retrospect, I remember the gritty feeling of salt on my face. I thought it was because I was close to the beach. Nope, it must have been enough sweat to get crusty.
