If you follow the instructions on the Dulles toll road when you don't have coins ("just drive-thru, you'll get a bill in the mail!") You won't, you will get a $1000 punitive fine.
You can appeal the fine, but "bills were sent to the wrong address" isn't a reason they allow, so it is unclear if an appeal process can succeed. If you don't pay, they can charge $800 per time you go thru "without paying".

sick report:
Been sick for ~12 days, but only 1 of them is "running a fever, can't get up" sick. Society doesn't know what to do with the other 11 days, you're not too sick to work, but you'll be tired, cranky, and maybe contagious. Too long to just take 10 days off.
Oh and the chronic cough. 12 days of cough, but I've had coughs that last two months. No one takes 40 days off.

Virginia DMV so high tech, moving into state requires 2 visits to DMV in person, filling in a paper forms multiple times & white out. We should improve the DMV somewhat.

Working 2 jobs for greenfield software dev is stealing $ from your employer. Working 2 jobs for "fireman" work, i.e. sitting around waiting for something to break isn't, but expect employers to figure that out too & stop paying full salary for part-time.
Software maintenance might keep you busy for 15 hours a week, but pays $100k. I'll predict that in the future, employers switch to hiring only 1099 & paying $37,500 for that work & letting the dev work 3 jobs.
(And bullshit jobs, which are impossible to know it is a bullshit job in advance take 0 hours of work per week, so in theory you should be able to work infinite bullshit jobs, inifite money)

- bullshit jobs exist, zoom magnifies the problem (i.e. you can't pretend to work, zoom makes it look like you are not working)
