IDEA: I think you probably could poach a few .NET developers from Contoso & get the referral bonuses.
Because people are great at socializing in person they think they are automatically good at socializing on zoom, ie. if socializing comes naturally to you, you think you're should do great on zoom & it doesn't work, so you want to cancel all meetings which means 0 human contact.
But you can't cancel the meetings because they were called by someone else, so people show up at meetings and no one talks.

Presidential approval surveys are mixing measures of 2 things. I think Rs answer the question as "Given the president is a symbol of the country, do you hate your country?/Given the president is of the other party, do you hate your own party?"
and I think Ds answer the question as "Do you agree with policy positions that have been in the news recently?" This will give wildy different standard deviations over time-- Rs will be unwavering & Ds will be up and down. Not sure about Independents.
