I was trying to imagine how Trump supporters square the children in cases thing. They probably aren't Sith- rejoicing in evil is a fiction thing. I think they see the kids-in-cages thing the way the center-left sees the accidental deaths of war, bad, but a side effect of
a necessary policy. (The center-left doesn't want to disband the army & become isolationists) So Trump supporters must see themselves as at war with Mexico & the kids are just collateral damage. We misunderstand them if we think their goal is just to cage children.
