As a one policy voter, who cares only about template jokes, I want the political template jokes from the last 4 years to all go away.

Covid broke the hotel scripts. Took some awkward conversations between me & the doorman to figure out how to get a luggage trolley. (You must let the doorman drive the trolley. You can skip interacting with the front desk)
I'm going on vacation to Ocean City today! Checking all the Covid maps. Don't stop in Calvert or Dorchester County. This will be 1st vacation since before March.

IDEA: add a feature to pip so you can `pip install` a stackoverflow question, `pip update` to get the latest changes & some wrapper goo so you can `import` python from the MD.
Security? Same as now, prompt the user to read the code before install/update.
Copy-Paste formalized.
IDEA: terraform-to-people provider. Write your TF script as usual & then on `apply` it will fire off a bunch of email & jira tickets to tell your server admin to go create VPCs, EC2 machines, etc with the web console. Also works for on-premise infrastructure.
Opinion. Terraform is not mature enough to be a governance thing on its own. Too often you need root-like rights to paper over TF's inability to create, change or destroy this or that, in my case because of cyclic graphs.

I still remember the good ole days when you needed to run task manager multiple times a day to kill frozen processes. I think I run task manager to kill a process once a month or two or three. I think the change was around the win 7 to win 10 switch over

Anyone with personal experience living in College Park? What vibe wins, PG County or "University town"? GreatSchools hates it. Is that warranted?
(Is GreatSchools just informal redlining? wtf do they even measure. So many questions)

In the infinite parallel universes, if you picked one at random, 12% of the time the bad guy wins again. But there are an infinite # of universes where the good guy wins & the bad guy wins, so ♾️/♾️. I'm not sure I know how to calculate this ratio. https://twitter.com/ReedForecasts/status/1318892827020042243
I've never used a VPN client where the UI/UX wasn't trash. That means ALL VPN clients I've ever used are susceptible to help-desk attacks. I'm look at you Big-IP, F5, Cisco, etc..

Is "dead cat bounce" (a stock price rising after a catastrophic fall) an example of regression-to-the-mean or some other statistical phenomena? Also, see the increase support for Trmp from the low single digits to just a bit more than that among African Americans.
Uncontrolled spread implies there was nothing that could have been done. Taiwan, German, New Zealand, Viet Nam, China, Korea's experience say otherwise. This was a controlled spread. https://x.com/EricTopol/status/1317849521691402240

Oh boy. Thomas Jefferson changing their admissions policy because of too many Asians. Maybe they could make taking the test mandatory to make up for the fact that many kids don't take the test because their parents think of it.

Also, it would be nice if there were more of this type of high school. One per super-region is going to exclude people that don't live close to the high school, the normal way we enforce racist policies that we pretend don't exist.

Con: Covid is exploding again, & not just in red states.
Pro: Another week we can order take out for a week's worth of Indian food.
them:"hello can I help you?"
me:"I need the menu"
them:"It's on the web. What specifically?"
me:"Everything. on. the. menu. And partathas."
The intersection of Indian food & square dancing is dosai dough.
This joke has no audience.
What this demonstrates is that mathematical notation is trash and froze into conventions too early. If this code runs on human brains & we know that humans implement the rules differently, this is undefined until more parentheses are added. This is analogous to javascript. https://x.com/sogon333/status/1316556189208018945
