Anyone got a non-awful way to convert deeply nested json with lots of optional fields (70%+) to CSV, highly variable cardinality of child lists (1-10,000)?
Folk didn't like my idea of coverting to several CSV files.

dependency injection is a bit harder in python because there are so many ad hoc ways to do it & no obvious to me common way to do it.

Share a window.
mst: "Where's your Window? Pausing share until you bring the window back."
me: click around furiously
me: "Okay, everyone has a zoom account, right?"

Why is it called single sign on if you have to do 25 attempt to login? After a few dozen sign on attempts you start to accidentally type your password in the wrong window.
They're breeding fast...

ok, now I'm curious, why are jetbrains installs instantaneous (feels like time to copy bytes from A to B) but Visual Studio (at least up until I left it in 2016 or so) installs are best scheduled around a movie & pizza party
Using walrus operator to reduce line count in code files I can't unit test, e.g.
a = b
b(a)
c(a)
becomes
b(a := b)
c(a)

Time to get creative to finance my next house. I'm thinking of issuing a blockchain-based currency backed by how many likes you get on tweets instead of proof of wasting electricity on cryptographic puzzles. I'll use the seigniorage to make my downpayment.
Yes, you should work on this ticket this sprint. How many minutes will it take & can you convert that to story points and give me 100% certainty that it will be completed in 3 weeks. https://x.com/curtosys/status/1313865165528543232
Downdown DC worker here... anyone still going into the office and still sharing buses, metros & stations with White House staff? https://x.com/RosalindZAdams/status/1313842694251261953
Ironically, tools that track output up to now have been seen as anti-worker, patronizing, spying, etc. (Because previously time in office was evidence of productivity). People will have a hard time with this wanting no time in office & also no output tracking. https://x.com/chris_herd/status/1313202777531854853

Instead of an 80 char max width for yaml, we should have 20. That way everyone will be very familiar with yaml's line break conventions. I'm looking at you sonar.
Or maybe 1 & then everyone could just stop using yaml.

IDEA: compile errors make people feel bad about themselves, lets change all compile errors to warnings. Run time errors make people feel worse, lets change those to skip & continue.

Supporting shadow IT as shadow IT is sort of like in economics, where we prefer street homelessness because we can't build cheap homes that meet code. So we let people live on the streets rather than in shoddy "slums". (Yes, tax billionaires, that is working great, get that $750)
We think that unless we can hire 50 people and go thru full SDLC over 5 years that nothing can be done. So people write apps that have 0 chance of passing ATO in excel & ms access.

I was born in shadow IT. Supporting shadow IT instead of pretending we can replace it with a staff of 50 & $1B requires an org to admit to a level of toxic dysfunction they'll never admit to. & With toxic dysfunction comes toxic stupid. https://x.com/kzwa/status/1313182659611422722

No one solved a pylint problem by disabling pylint. But that doesn't stop people from trying and not seeing that it is a dodgy plan.

Sterling to Reston Metro ~15 min drive, park, then Reston to DC + a bit of walking, another 60 min. Trying to decide if that is madness or not.

Shoot, I'm going to have to cross this house off my list because I can have a monthly mortgage payment more than my annual salary. No seriously. What if 12 people need to pee at the same time? Disaster.
