So kids,after factoring in that they are germ-acquisition & spreading machines when in school, are about as likely as adults to spread covid. Out of school, not a problem compared to adults as a source of covid. Lots of conflicting opinions from studies

Me: Points to Taiwan. No mass deaths, everything is open, effective mass test & trace. That is the relevant option. There should be political consequences to it not being chosen.
New habit- every weekend I fill up a hypothetical shopping carts on ~5 stores to see who will get my $ sometime this week. It is more time-efficient to fill up a cart in advance when you got spare time than to wait for when you need to put in an order.

Software Security in a large org:
1) Create a long checklist
2) The checklist is entirely concerns of the bureaucracy (getting ToS on footers)
3) No actually software security features are demanded (no encryption, code review, vulnerability db checks, etc)
End of in person meeting: everyone magically knows when it is over.
End of webex/zoom meeting: the meeting is over only once y'all sit through the longest uncomfortable pause you can remember.
Oddly, my household isn't suffering from quarantine fatigue--we generally have better protocol compliance than when we started (store visits zero'd out, we got more & better masks, much better protocols for dealing what few exit we have to do)
