This take on a vegan pizza is a veggie pizza without cheese. Tasted fine, but it was lacking in either a bean thing, an olive thing or a vegetable that has lots of oil, e.g. a fried eggplant. Without one of those 3 things, it isn't nutritionally in the same category of a pizza (high calorie meal that has all of the vegan food groups). I enjoyed it despite it being poorly though out because good bread with veggies still tastes good.

What if a company made an API (instead of App + Api) & agreed with all their customers to only ever sell the API, not to create competing consuming API apps. Then it would be safe to make a business based on an API. There would still be an economic incentive for one party to attempt to try to get more than their fair share of the total. But if the each company was legally prevented from doing the others, it would at least be a commercial suicide pact.

As a vegan, Buddhist, Esperantist, I got some predictions about what will happen to the "save the climate" movement. It will go nowhere for hundreds of years. 1% of people will continue to advocate for it & live a climate friendly lifestyle. All things that can be burned for fuel on the planet will be burned. Every chunk of coal, oil and wood. Earth will return to the climate of the Paleocene–Eocene Thermal Maximum.
But Florida will be gone, so it isn't all bad.

I'll be able to use this in libraries that need to support old versions of python in about.... 1 trillion years.
While hacking on my markpickle library I ran into markdown-to-json and have been hacking with the author to do maintenance development and today I got 2.1.0 published, all modernized and shiny.
Markpickle handles more scenarios, but now shares one of the key algorithms from markdown-to-json because it was just a better algorithm.
Okay, editable installs in #python is an advanced scenario that I've never seen work. This just reaffirms my opinion that setup.py and everything it touches is $#!+

Did you know you can use open source software for eating babies? Simply horrible stuff, let's stomp out all the bad opensouce infrastructure that doesn't ban its users from eating babies.
Nothing says open like an agreement that lists who can and how code will be used. We literally have no other levers at our disposal for dealing with people eating babies except boycotts of organizations large enough to matter & restrictive licenses.
