Content warning: mastodon notification strategy
There just aren't enough mutual here for me to block notifications from people I don't follow. I could do that on twitter & still see most of the things I cared about and rule out junk.
But in a tag & retweet dominated feed, I'm mostly replying to non-mutuals and I'm missing their replies.
