Chatgpt's toki pona is so surreal. It does so so at inventing new root words. It often starts repeating nonstop if you ask it to generate a long text (too little input?) Some of the phrases it creates have the same dream like sense of meaning that you see in human created toki pona.
I think it just doesn't have enough source material.
