So people (smart and otherwise) saying, "Oh this thing is not sentient" are stating a religious or philosophical opinion. The defendable hard science claims (is it an actual human meat brain) are missing the heart of the phenomena that we have a philosophical zombie on our hand- behaviorally sentient, but not like us so we can't reason based on likeness.
