@ebooksyearn No, my understanding is that heatpumps are like an air conditioner that moves heat into the house instead of out of it. So I imagine they'd be use the same tech as central air. Also the non-central version works just like non-central AC, (e.g. mounted on a wall & heats just that floor/room) All that said, there sure are a lot of gadgets out there & they're sold to HVAC people who know poorly the universe of possibilities. (My latest gadget was a central dehumidifier)
