US Gov't is going into AI (50% pro-AI, 50% anti, something for everyone)! Gonna hire some techies. Got a canned search all set up for USAJobs ... and it returns a first entry that pays $20,000 a year. (I didn't not miss a zero.)
Everything else pay fine, enough to pay your student loans & get a modest apartment, but nothing that gets even close to competing with salaries in CA or NY, even after cost of living calculations.
