#StackOverflow new AI "searcher" doesn't necessarily search the SO Q&A database, but instead gives you a ChatGPT-style answer and some really bad citations (irrelevant Q&As)
I think they're going for a "if you can't beat them, join them" despite the user base (moderators? the company?) making it clear that they don't want ChatGPT answers posted by users.
If they do nothing, they'll keep losing traffic to ChatGPT.
