Mind blown.... in a causal graph you don't encode your assumptions on what relationships are positive, you encode assumptions on which are 0.
It might be dodgy to assume your drug cures the disease. But to assume the calendar is irrelevant, seems safe and it seems psuedosciency to worry about leaving out the assumption that lunar phases might be involved. (and so on for the full matrix of possible causal connections)
