@manchuck Mainframe labor market is mostly wrecked. No new development, too many legacy companies that had COBOL are in distress and doing crazy thing like off shoring. Also mainframes are a popular justification for modernization efforts, but these orgs don't necessarily have any mainframes left being used for mission crit work. That doesn't changed the lived experience of some mainframe devs with very stable jobs.
