@thezerobit I read a book on the "power" of functional programming and the gist was instead of 28 lines of code, it was more powerful to write a 28 time nested compositional function. As the number of lines of code went down, the mental burnen of reading the remaining lines of code exploded.
That said, a little function programming mixed in with other paradigms is good.
