A separate scrum master role is fraud.
- If PO, PMs, Tech Leads are following some process, the role is redundant
- if the POs, PMs are violating all of it, the scrum master can't do anything about it but cheer it on, scrum master exist to amplify *whatever* management wants
Capital One was correct in firing every single scrum master. More organizations should copy that.
