Peeps on mastodon seem to think the main bottleneck to AI adoption will be how angry the techies here are. I think these are the bottlenecks:
- Analysis and design
- Creating meaningful tickets
- Realistic end-to-end tests to see if the analysis and design was wrong
- "Shipping', all the things to move any sort of change through a bureaucracy
- Post production evolution that doesn't crash the airplane as you repair it while it is still flying
I think techie work will begin flowing to those areas if LLM end up writing more code.
