Where mastodon as an everything app kind of works
- public posts, miniblogging (yes!)
- medium/long blogging (sort of?)
- chat/private-ish chat
- notes, paste bin (sort of?)
- calendar/reminder (via scheduled posts)
- Reader (making RSS, long posts nice to read)
- contacts book (no strong flag for, "I know this person IRL")
- multimedia, i.e. youtube/music client (sort of? by default is is such a jumbled feed)
- $$ - nah, no credit, the money is off site.
Social media, not the everything app, but the "Sort of, many things app!"
