POSSE: what if a static html page was a social media network database with info for one user and everyone creates a distributed database by publishing their own homepages all over. We then handwave away what and who does the compute. (something, maybe webmentions.io) and then patch up the gaps with bridgy.

So far, I think I can only support this from an html-only client if the client connects to github to publish a static blog and then connects to webmention.io and bridy to act as the message queue and "inter-social-network-proxies"
