What org got "presence announcing" software right? I mean, something that tells you on a given day where someone is on business travel, at the office, out sick or on leave, on campus or telework?
One org's organic solution is an ad-hoc DSL in the Lync status line.
Google Map's Location sharing is what people want, but it is too accurate. People want a solution of medium accuracy, but not as bad as Outlook (no clues as to location, presence is "lync is on") or Lync (must be manually updated & synced with Outlook)
