My car has knobs & buttons for 1% of its functions. I got a button for "skip song" which I never use and the MPG screen, switch to map, speed limit screens- all multiple clicks on a smooth touch screen. These screens were optimized for the 1950s.
I got one dial for 2 volumes- radio volume & volume of the voice assistant. It is impossible to set the individually except by luck. (that said, the car turns of the loud fans automatically when the voice assistant starts to talk which is pure UI joy)
