I can't find the original parable of throwing popcorn at a dog.

Throw 1, 2, maybe 3, it can catch 1 or 2 pretty reliably.
Throw 5, 6, 7...etc, it will catch 0, 0, 0,... etc.

ie don't overwhelm your or other's attention or try to multitask, we don't do it very well. Nor do dogs
