Don't put everyone into one great big channel, don't create only one channel & don't block all means for private 1:1, don't block user created new channels. (This goes for 8/9ths of the organizations I've worked at-- no one wants to use a public communication system if it is just going to be away to find people who need to be disciplined, fired, publicly humiliated)
