#maven #java Is the .m2 folder like a .NET GAC? If app A installs a dependency, D to it, and then in app B, you are attempting to compile and the pom.xml doesn't specify D, but needs it to compile, is it in scope?
or in python terms, does that .m2 folder act as a python system installation?
