The week before my trip: MD is fine, wrt to Covid.
Now: 95% of the country sees skyrocketing covid, ICUs across the country running out of space.
This stuff changes fast.
On our vacation
- we got carryout only from restaurants that were closed to dine in.
- we're traveling in the off-peak season
- haven't been in a single crowded room since we got here
