Ever hear of bizop law? It is business franchise law except the law assumes the business opportunity is probably a fraud & franchises generally are not. A college degree is a bizop. If there wasn't the promise of making a living, people wouldn't shell out the $ to get the degree.
In the case of a bizop, there are all sorts of consumer protections to protect against promising a career as a psychologist & charging for the training & materials to become a psychologist. In my opinion, it should be applied to Universities.
♡ 0 ↻ 0Either by making loan payback for a max % of salary & max number of years or like bizops, make the universities give the money back. (so uni's couldn't book & spend all the revenue right away). Or something. Teenagers aren't smart enough to spend $250,000 on a bizop.
♡ 0 ↻ 0Universities selling psychology degrees are literally stealing money from large children with, by definition, zero experience investing in bizops and zero experience avoiding bizop fraud.
