Opinion- tech contracts (especially the butts-in-seats ones) should give the government the option to hire. The federal gov't will NEVER solve the 4 months to hire problem.
I'd have to turn down 4 perfectly good jobs per week, so 64 offers most of them at high pay, to wait 4 months & forego $40,000 if I was unemployed for 4 months. This will never happen.
