The right to revolt is an extralegal concept. Our government has an official path for people to create evolutionary change. If that doesn't create the possibility for a path to your desired ends, then tough. The government has a monopoly on violence to keep you from your aims.
If this is not the case, then a gov't is at best a weak government at worst, one that soon will not exist and will be replaced by one that does have a monopoly on violence & is willing to use it. Pure independence from the government is a fantasy for people with autonomy issues.
