bash is a trap. Normally, for a 5 lines-of-code application, you don't lint, have a build script or unit tests. But bash is 250 5 line scripts spread across a dozen microservices, dockerfiles and gitlab-ci.yml files. So 5 lines at a time, it adds up to pain.
