20 years ago you could get a townhouse for $100k and a car for $10k. Now it's like 500 & 50, but I'm doing apples to oranges comps-cars & houses are somewhat bigger & better & incomes are up-for me. Still breaks my brain, the month payments all seem reckless compared to 2000
I have to respect business people that pay these eye popping valuations for companies and just don't go out of business, because if I was doing that, I'd be all, like, "No this company is not worth $75 million, I mean, in 1998 I could buy a shoes for $20"
♡ 2 ↻ 0With today's prices, I feel sort of like being abroad- 50,000 rubles for a candybar?! Outrageously large number of zeros! I have no idea if that is expensive or not, after all, candybar prices in the US only have two zeros after the decimal!
