TIL- If an ipad battery hits 1% (or some small %) it might switch to trickle charge. It will pull <0.00 amps for 24 hours before recharging. I also learned that you have to read a big xml doc to find an ipad's cycle count. They're rated for 1000 for pleasant use, ~1500 total
