End of an era, I'm shutting down my virtual private server where I used to host my programming experiments. Started with lunar pages until they got mad that I had like 20 different websites on the same account & then I switch to very expensive, but full freedom VPS.
Now I just don't have the time to do security patching & the experiments I want to do now aren't based on .NET and IIS7 and windows server 2008. Hosting has changed too, better to use free-tier or pay for serverless or other cloud options. And I want to keep that $ in my pocket
