Crazy job query I just got: "Need someone with exp in like 15 technologies, but only 1 year of experience (total!).... needs secret clearance" That is evidence of some structural gatekeeping. They want someone experienced, but are sticking to the somehow already cleared.
(I could be wrong, the difficulty to get a job if you are merely clearable goes up and down each year )
