"Tech companies redesign office to lure workers back" - Most of my several decade career, I work 38 hours with zero human interaction, 2 hours off meetings. The offices were loud, distracting with most elements meant to humiliate the low rank.
The same people that create that hellscape for techies will never, ever, ever, ever figure out how to fix it because that isn't their goal and never was, it is about humiliation.
