This makes no sense. Analytic Philo is, like, using *logic* to assert how the world is. Continental Philo is using everything but *formal* logic, relying on big ideas like historical dialectic, "imperialism", other-"isms". On the otherhand, being this is DC, there is a big group of DSA folk in my feed. On the otherhand, Analytic/Continental should be a right-left split. I think what this survey is really showing, is that uni's don't teach philosophy is any functional way.
♡ 0 ↻ 0And by functional, I mean, as a way to learn formal argumentation, which is too bad, because without formal argumentation (be it analytical or continental), we are using sociology, various "cargo-cult" arguments to assert truth by authority.
