If taxes were funded by everyone to buy their income tax in lotto ticks-that would be a lot millionaires out there. Folk would be looking forward to tax day. On the other hand, 50% of the gov't budget would be lotto payouts. So no change, except its random instead of classist.
that got less coherent making it shorter enough to tweet. My idea is replacing income tax with an *obligatory* purchase of lotto tickets scaled to income. Then we'd get rid of big military contracts that just reward the donor class the the opportunity to take a cut w/o working.
