If you follow a user, you get some % of negative sentiment & you can tune your follow list until you get the % of negative sentiment you want.
If you follow a tag, by odds, you are getting the % of negative sentiment in your feed that the fediverse as a whole has. (which in my case is lot higher, if you follow the #foo tag, you're going to be seeing a lot of people angry about #foo)
