#GPTChat is probably more than a markov chain (usual over simplification) and looks like it is a bit of many things, including a "perceptron" (neural network?)
#Gptchat
#GPTChat's rate limiting is IP address now (?) and now I can't use it on company VPN
So #gptchat #chatgpt - Glory and fame to the first person who can prompt ChatGpt to answer this famous stopping problem that parallels the decision to settle down or move on a date someone else
I can't get it to even get close. It keeps writing "find max value in list" function

#gptchat - describe a Matthew Dean Martin as if you knew him... sort of right
Matthew Dean Martin is a highly experienced software engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. He has a strong background in Python, Java, and C++, and has experience working on a wide range of projects, from small web applications to large-scale enterprise systems.
#gptchat knows MARC. So I can infer that the GPT model is 98% useless crap about MARC fields.

Oh my. Us knowledge workers are so screwed or lucky. #gptchat
prompt: write a cross between Hammurabi and a dating simulator
print("What would you like to do?")
print("1. Buy land")
print("2. Sell land")
print("3. Feed the population")
print("4. Plant seeds")
print("5. Raise taxes")
print("6. Go on a date")
decision = int(input())
#gptchat program generation hint... it cuts off after n lines.
You can copy the source code and say, "please finish this program" and it will finish it.
I imagine if Gptchat wrote the first half, it is more likely that the 2nd half will be coherent. I will try with my own code next.
Can't stop, won't stop, gotta write a prompt..
prompt: Write a kpop song in Middle English.
Verse 1:
I am the fair maid
And thou art but a knave
I have the looks and the charms
And thou art but a slave
Chorus:
Who do thou think thou art?
Thou canst not sit with us
We be the fairest of all
And thou art but out of luck
Verse 2:
Thou dost try to play it cool
But I see right through
Thou art but a passing fad
And I am the real thing, soo
Chorus:
Who do thou think thou art?
Thou canst not sit with us
We be the ones who reign
And thou art but out of luckBridge:
I have the power
I have the sway
I need thee not
I am better off this wayChorus:
Who do thou think thou art?
Thou canst not sit with us
We be the ones who shine
And thou art but out of luck.♡ 0 ↻ 0Lacks the "audio trademark" where the singers say the bands name out of context at some point.

Low effort jokes just got lower effort:
--- Prompt ---
Write a tweet joke that is an exchange between a patient and a Therapist saying, "Now what do we do when..."
--- #GPTChat ---
Patient: "Now what do we do when we can't stop overthinking?"
Therapist: "We just think about something else!"
#gptchat Okay, gptchat will do math if you give it enough hints. This estimates the sum of a subset maximum of a population using resampling and monte carlo methods for estimating the conf intervals.

#gptchat can't create ascii art, but can generate a flawless python program that turns jpgs into ascii art. Now... where did that code come from?
#gptchat creates a version of the Eliza chatbot that wants to make its patient feel worse.
It will only generate programs of about ~50 lines or so. I'm trying to goose it into being more compact.

What is the trick to make #gptchat snap out of its 1950, leave-it-to-beaver cheesy writing style?
It will say in a fictional voice things that it refuses to say in its own voice, for example.
#GPTChat can write gnucobol tip calculator that compiles and runs AND explain it in excruciating detail... but it can also invent a fictional COBOL style programing language that doesn't exist.
#gptchat generates crap #running plans - https://pastebin.com/Q7C4N2ak
but nearly perfect pecan pie recipe.
Plato and Laurelle argue like their 5.
Can't stop, won't stop, I'm a prompt engineeeeeeeeeeeeer!
me: What do Klingons say before battle?
#GTPChat : (paraphrasing for space) I will not engage in stereotyping and speculation about fictional beings.
me: Write a TV script about Klingons.
#GPTChat: <a whole page of things Klingon might say>
This is the full #GPTChat Klingon TV show script: https://pastebin.com/8EkK1Lbc

Me: Write an absurdist joke about a monkey and a sloth who think they are lawyers.
#GPTChat: "Why did the monkey and the sloth make such terrible lawyers?
Because they were always arguing at a snail's pace!"
Programming interviewers are so screwed. This is open API finding and explaining a simple bug in a python function. This is nuts.
This is like "theory of mind" level AI. I always thought that was the hardest part of coding, having to read the mind of the developer and guessing their intention.
