I can't actually tell what is public on my #venmo account because I have to sign in to see what is "public". I can only simulate my own auth claims.
This is different from, say, linkedin where I can see what is public in the incognito window.
I can see I have 15 #venmo friends, which are actual auto-adds from my phone's contacts. I **can't see who these 15 people are** (at least not with naive clicking around... maybe this is one of those things where it only works on the iphone app and not elsewhere)
♡ 1 ↻ 0Elon should have bought venmo and twitter together ... wait, Jack Dorsey (10% less evil) should have bought them or he could have let Stripe copy Venmo.
One has a business model and wants to be a social media site and the other is a social media site that needs a business model.
