Possibly. I don't know why it was ever released with defective network access and unusably slow IO.
#python poetry. So if you use git-bash as your main shell, but have #wsl on your machine, poetry will only launch and install dependencies into wsl. Because wsl 1 & 2 have broken IO, it take a billion years. But it can still package, unlike setuptools.
