I got this theory that a name is a shorthand way of saying "Act like the person who'd be named "X"- so if you said 'your name is Space Karen', you'd get whatever the cultural tropes are that are associated with that name.
Or maybe not! Explicit works better than subtle, so "Write like Jules Vernes" should work better than "Your name is now Jules Vernes"
