Another side project idea:
A game where you make fermi estimates of known things and see if you can get close.
The game would assume all estimates are products of numbers in scientific notation and then do the much harder calculations on the "confidence intervals" of the estimate.
Self-replies
People talking about Fermi estimates like to say, "This will create a surprising good estimate" and then they don't do any examples with known quantities.
And I'm sick of estimating the number of piano tuners in Chicago. Makes it sound like the tool intended for useless trivia.
