Unless you got revenue per transaction, you shouldn't be doing side projects with paid API. (For anything that has more than an incidental number of API calls)

Why? Because if you have to pay to scale & there is no revenue, you're deciding in advance that your side project will fail.

Failed project = low API costs
Successful project = actually failed because you can't afford $200/mo
