@jamiemccarthy WaPo May 8, 1945: The war is over, the death toll is 50,000 German children killed by RAF bombing, 40,000 women and children killed by US bombing. We have literally no idea why this happened, I guess the UK and US are just enjoy killing women and children, it is literally the only thing they do. Germany was just trying to decolonize Poland. Japan just wanted to decolonize Hawaii.

@jamiemccarthy War is a mutually assured destruction game, even when it doesn't involve nukes. The only way to win is for the other side to decide not to play. Once the game has started, continuing is better than giving up, but no choices are left that are better than not being in war in the first place.
