- hashtag means two things, "add this to your filter" AND "engage me on this topic like I just posted to a mailing list"
- words mean, "you can still mute this word if you want"
- CW means "I really, really believe people who prefer to read tweets right instead of Children of Time (640 pages, 1st of 3 books), will click expand on the CWs"

Mute works just as well for words as hashtags and posts w/o CW.

And around here words also mean "I want you to find this using google's `domain:mastodon.social` trick instead of mastodon's broken search"

Using hashtags for search is broken, not enough people use hashtags effectively, but some percent to who, use them like mini-mailing lists/mini-forums. (Although you can never tell if the hashtag means, "I am advertising the opportunity to fight me" or "Hello fellow enthusiasts")
