@kpdooty I'm most tempted to take the offer from the company that does both cleared & uncleared work because that is the only path to clearance I know. Everyone else that is hiring for cleared jobs won't talk to me or ghost me, so the talent pool for cleared must be deep enough to be picky, or is its just financially impossible to hold someone on a bench for so long.

@kpdooty That said, the hiring manager isn't hiring me for future clearability, they just need someone on a Federal contract for 3-5 years. Cleared jobs, I surmise is someone else's department and someone else's problem.
