I hate forums. The attract spam, so if you post a "look at what I did" link (to be clear, I'm not asking people to to pay or donate me $), it gets deleted as spam. So now I have to create a website for "cool things people did" Make me wonder why Mastodon is resilient against spam, when they don't ban promoting things.

- Blog - yes
- Reddit - yes, probably? I haven't tried
- LinkedIn - yes, but...

What else am I missing?
