Gratitude journal is crypto-Christianity. It rubs me the wrong way since I'm not a Christian and this doesn't fit into my world view, particularly the part about not believing unfounded things, aka lies.
They could have made it secular by having subjects track "what went well" which isn't unlike the exercises in cognitive psychology.
